MOCK STAINED GLASS – Graves County High School art students realized creating actual stained glass windows would involve great time, effort, and expense. So, to expedite the process during the Christmas season, they’ve created the next best thing – mock stained glass windows! Teacher Jack Goodwin said the decorations adorn many of the school’s windows. Between dusk and 8 p.m., they are back lit, creating the visual effect of stained glass. The windows range from the whimsical, such as a comical penguin, to the solemn, including this bright star against the night sky. Goodwin encourages area residents to drive around the high school during the early evening to enjoy the artwork.
