Tilghman Speech Students Sweep Local Rotary Club Speech Contests

Paducah Tilghman sophomore Victoria Potter won first place and a $300 scholarship at the Paducah Rotary Club Speech Contest held February 23 at the McCracken County Public Library.

Junior Chandler Emmons Smith won first place and a $300 scholarship in Mayfield’s Rotary Club Contest held February 28 at the Mayfield Country Club.

Victoria and Chandler will advance to the Rotary Sectional Contest to be held April 14 at Murray. 

Senior Caitlyn Gallip earned 2nd place and a $200 scholarship at the Paducah Club contest, while freshman Elizabeth Behrens placed 4th in the Mayfield Club’s contest.
