Lowes first grader benefits from special gift

L to R: Scott Green, Jim Heath, Natalie Baldwin, Janet Burgess and Cheryl Goodman

SPECIAL GIFT FOR SPECIAL PERSON – Lowes Elementary first grader Natalie Baldwin was born without arms, due to Amelia Syndrome.

“She is a very determined and independent young lady,” said her principal, Cheryl Goodman. “Her parents, Jason and Atoshia Baldwin, have reared her that way!  She is able to do whatever other students can do. If you don't believe that, just ask her!”

When Scott Green and Jim Heath of Bayer CropScience heard that she could benefit from an IPad, they donated one.

“This IPad will lessen some of her challenges,” Goodman concluded. “Especially when she gets tired, this modern technology can be used to help. We at Lowes, Natalie, and her parents are all grateful to these gentlemen and their company for this wonderful gift!”
