PTHS student artwork to be displayed at DeaFESTIVAL | Paducah, art, DeaFESTIVAL, education

PTHS freshman Jessica Lopez poses with the 2012 fiberglass horse that will be displayed by the Kentucky Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Jessica was selected to go to DeaFESTIVAL in Louisville this summer and transfer her artwork onto the horse. She also received one-on-one instruction from a professional artist during her stay.

DeaFESTIVAL is a biennial celebration of art, music, storytelling and theater in the deaf and hard of hearing community. It is produced by the Kentucky Commission on the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (KCDHH), the Knowledge Center on Deafness, and the National Association of the Deaf (NAD).
