Entering is winning for Graves High students

WORLD’S LARGEST STOCKING – Purchasing a ticket for a chance to win the World’s Largest Christmas Stocking brings the possibility of winning an enormous stocking filled with prizes. It also helps the special needs class at Graves County High School raise money for its end-of-school year trip. Last year, the group attended a St. Louis Cardinals baseball game.

What few details teacher Miranda Reed has revealed indicate an out-of-town concert is a distinct possibility. Here, she, fellow teacher Lori Emerson, their students, and staff of the Mayfield Chapter of Woodmen of the World pose with the stocking. WOW area manager Ronnie Lear developed the idea and sponsored the project.

Tickets are $5 each and may be purchased until Dec. 17 through WOW or Graves County High School.
