PTHS grad becomes middle school principal

New PTMS principal Stacey Overlin

Paducah Middle Assistant Principal Stacey Overlin has been selected by the Paducah Middle Site Based Decision Making Council to be principal at Paducah Middle School. Overlin replaces Tim Huddleston, who accepted the position of principal at Madisonville North Hopkins High School.

Overlin (PTHS '87) has a long history with Paducah Public Schools as a student, teacher, and administrator.

He was voted Mr. Tilghman, was a first team All-State football player, and was class salutatorian. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, where he played football and club rugby. He received his Masters of Education from Xavier University in Cincinnati, and his school administrator certification from Murray State University.

Overlin taught in the science department at Paducah Tilghman for five years before becoming assistant principal at Tilghman in 2011.
