HCHS Drama Club - sly and witty performances in "The Usual Suspects"

HCHS Drama Club takes a final bow for this year.

(Clinton, KY) April 5, 2014) - What do a jock, a princess, a rocker, and a nerd have in common?

An enemy, of course.

When Principal Piddles, the chief authority of Golden Valley High, abuses his power a little too much, these unlikely associates become “unusual suspects” in an action packed comedy caper devised to bring down their arch-nemesis.

The Hickman County High Drama Club presented the perfect high school play last Saturday night. Stereotypical students band together to take on their principal. Led by an unlikely hero, students use their unique talents to take on Principle Piddles.

Equal part slapstick and witty dialogue, "The Usual Suspects" was enjoyed by an audience of students by day and parents and well wishers in the evening.

While the acoustics in the gym made some dialogue difficult to hear, what came through was sly and funny.

The only regret we have is that the Hickman County Drama Club does only one play a year. The usual Hickman High drama students showed talent and hard work during their only offering.
