Clark students write Earth Day poetry

Clark fourth graders in Mrs. Armstrong’s science classes participated in the 2014 Chemists Celebrate Earth Day (CCED) Poem Contest. The contest is sponsored by the Kentucky Lake Section of the American Chemical Society (ACS). Katherine Glisson won first place, Frannie Hideg won second, and Lily Holm was honorable mention in the contest. They were invited to a dinner meeting of the ACS on April 24 to recognize their accomplishments. Their entries will advance to the national CCED poem contest.
