Elizabeth Katz, a junior at PTHS, will attend the pre-college drama program at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh June 28 – August 9. Students accepted into this auditioned program live on campus for six weeks and participate in a rigorous daily schedule of classes which mirrors the School of Drama’s curriculum.

The program helps students prepare for the college audition and interview process and demands the kind of creativity and discipline required for B.F.A. drama curriculum. Previous Carnegie Mellon Pre-College students have been accepted into the leading conservatory and liberal arts colleges throughout the country.
