The federal deficit dropped over the last year from $680 billion in 2013 to $503 billion projected for 2014, according to a Congressional Budget Office report released today. That's a 70% drop from 2008, the year Barack Obama took office.

Part of the reason for the drop - the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare.
