SOAR-ing ahead | Appalachia, SOAR, Kentucky, government, license plate

On Monday, February 2, the Special License Plate Commission will consider a new license plate for SOAR - Shaping Our Appalachian Region.

If SOAR gets its own plate, it will be an ego-booster for a region seriously in need of a boost.

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Jan. 30, 2015) - The Special License Plate Committee will hold a special meeting Monday, Feb. 2, 2015, at 10 a.m. EST. Meeting location will be Room C-109 A & B of the Transportation Cabinet Office Building, 200 Mero Street, Frankfort.
