Paducah students excel at Future Problem Solving Competition | Kentucky, Paducah Tilghman, Future Problem Solving

Paducah Middle sixth grader Jenna Price (r) was first in the junior division and 8th grader Addie Rogers (l) was second place in the middle division in the category of Scenario Performance in Future Problem Solving at the Kentucky State Governor's Cup Academic Competition. The tournament was held March 14-16 at Louisville, Kentucky. As winner of the junior division, Price will represent the commonwealth of Kentucky at the FPS International Competition, which will be held in Iowa.

In Scenario Performance, students must write a story about a specific topic. Their response to the topic must be set 20 years in the future. After writing the story, students must memorize it and videotape it with no cuts or edits.
