This week we add a new "site of interest" in our righthand column. Mayra Diaz Ballard contacted us from Graves County and asked for a link to the Kentucky Extension Homemakers Association.

Homemakers are busy throughout the Commonwealth - to find out what your local group is doing, Mayra says "To find out about KEHA clubs and activities in a specific Kentucky county, contact the county office for the UK Cooperative Extension Service. County Extension websites are accessible at http://www.ca.uky.edu/county/."

Graves County Homemakers can contact Virginia Langford, County Ext. Agent for Family and Consumer Sciences at vlangfor@uky.edu

The Folsomdale Club in Graves County meets on the second Tuesday of every month at the Trinity United Methodist Church beginning at 10:00 a.m.

The next event will be at the Graves County Extension Office is on Friday, September 25 at 1:30 p.m. "Let's Have a Spa Day" is a learning session which will help alleviate some of the pressure of choosing a "quality"day spa by showing you what to look for as well as ways to experience body, mind and spirit renewal in the comfort of your own home. Come, bring a friend and share some of your personal at home spa tips.
