Prom dress consignment sale sponsored by Graves High All-Girl Cheerleaders re-scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 6

Graves County High School's All-Girl Cheerleaders will host their third annual area-wide prom dress consignment sale at the school between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6.

Anyone wishing to sell a very-gently-used prom or formal dress may enter their dress or dresses into the sale for a fee of $10 for the first dress and $5 for each additional dress. Sellers keep all profits from the sale of their dress or dresses. Dresses must be dry-cleaned, placed on hangers and placed in a dry cleaning bag. Dresses also must be tagged with the selling price and seller information. Drop-off time will be from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, the morning of the sale.

The sale starts at 10 a.m. Dresses will be arranged by size and color, making it easy to find the prefect dress at a great price! A dressing room will be available.

The first two events were very successful with many of the close to 190 dresses entered being sold. Last year's event revealed a need for more dresses Size 10 and up. So, this year's sale would be a great time to sell larger-sized dresses. This also is a great chance to buy and sell eighth grade formal dresses.

In the event of inclement weather, the sale will be cancelled.
