Since 2009, Emerge Kentucky has recruited and trained 140 Democratic women across the Commonwealth with the mission of increasing the number of women in elected office at all levels of government. There will be twenty Emerge candidates on the ballot this spring and fall.

Chair Jennifer Moore sent an email to supporters saying "With 17 women currently serving and candidates filing at all levels, we are another step closer to accomplishing our mission."
