"No Signs of Intelligent Life" HCHS presents spring play

Hunter Leblanc is a visiting alien in HCHS 2016 spring play.

Drama students at Hickman County High will present "No Signs of Intelligent Life" on Friday, Marcy 25th at 1:00 and again at 7:00. The play is a series of vignettes depicting green shirted but otherwise human looking aliens trying to cope with Earth culture. The results are both funny and a wry commentary on our often inexplicable culture.

Among the questions that actor Hunter Leblanc, shown at right, and his fellow aliens pose are "why is there no ham in a hamburger?" and "how can a substitute teacher motivate students in detention?"

Aliens hang out at the water cooler trying to fit in, go on extreme camping trips, experience blind first dates and learn that lighting a birthday cake does not call for a fire extinguisher.

The public is invited to both performances at the Hickman County High School Gym on James Phillips Drive in Clinton.
