Feeling depressed and let down after Tuesday's primary? Need to hear more politics talk?

Here's your chance.

The Paducah Lions Club will hear from two self described political junkies a week to the day after the primary at a luncheon meeting on May 24th.

Ivan and Mary Potter will have a "Political Conversation" as featured speakers at the meeting beginning at noon.in Walker Hall, 3rd and Madison in Paducah.

The Potters, who have published West Kentucky Journal for eight years,will share the podium, something they haven't done in their thirty plus years of marriage. The Potters came to West Kentucky in early 2000 and currently live in Clinton Kentucky.

Ivan Potter is a futurist and Clinton City Council member. He worked in Kentucky state government for four governors and in the White House for two presidents. Mary Potter is a former Frankfort Independent School Board member and a practicing attorney.

Visitors are welcome according to Lions Club member Kent Price. Reservations are recommended.
