The Graves County School District's 700 faculty and staff members celebrated the Opening Day to the 2016-17 school year on August 3rd with fun, games, motivational speeches and a tribute to law enforcement and the U.S.A.

The district honored and thanked the Graves County Sheriff's Department, the Mayfield Police Department, and Kentucky State Police Post 1 for their service and protection.

Students arrived for the new year the following day.
