Magnolia Place Assisted Living is paying for Discovery Park of America admission for all children 17 and younger as a way to pay tribute to and memorialize Jenny Kirkland. Kirkland, who died in Aug. 2019. Student groups must be arranged in advance by calling 731-885-5455 or emailing reservations@discoveryparkofamerica.com.
This generous gift is just in time for you to check out the new temporary exhibit, "Astronaut," that opens Jan. 17, 2020. This immersive exhibit has over 20 interactive stations that allow you to experience both the mental and physical challenges of life outside Earth's atmosphere. Tickets for "Astronaut" will be $6.95 in addition to the price of admission to Discovery Park. Special pricing of $4.95 is available for students in groups.
