After a sudden thunderstorm yesterday afternoon, our one Clinton "traffic control device" went a little insane. Drivers on Washington Street were very temporarily confused by the mixed messages of Red Light - Green Light.



To the rescue came our spiffily efficient Transportation guys who quickly put up a stop sign and repaired the lights. The white truck on the left of the picture is the repair truck and when they saw me out in the middle of the street with my camera, they laughed and got on with their work.



David and his crew know me and this site from the open manhole story a few months back. (Notice the cones are still on the sidewalk protecting the public from sudden holes in the ground.
