Democracy happens at the local level!  Together, we can build a stronger Kentucky!

The Carlisle County Democratic Convention is coming up on May 5 at 6 p.m. Whether you're a longtime member or new to politics, there's a place for you. We’re stronger together.

Our County Democratic Convention on May 5 at 6 p.m. (Cunningham Community Center, our regular county party meeting place) will be more than just the required reorganization.

We will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a Mexican fiesta and also mark our second anniversary as a committee. Our first meeting was at Columbus-Belmont State Park on May 6, 2023. Eleven attended (find yourself in the photo), including Melinda Craig who took the photo.

The bill of fare will include:

Burrito casserole, Janice Vaden

Enchilada casserole, Peggy Rexroat

Salsa and chips, Dorothy Puckett

Guacamole and chips, Lisa Jamieson
