The special edition birdhouse, crafted by the renowned Louisville Stoneware, is My Old Kentucky Home in miniature in clay with a welcoming entrance for feathered-friends.  Carloftis has teamed up with the stoneware maker and its artists on a number of birdhouse designs that are available at various park gift shops.

The Rockcastle County native credits his Kentucky upbringing for his appreciation of nature and gardens.  He has appeared on HGTV, Good Morning America and Martha Stewart Living, and his gardens have been featured in dozens of national publications from Better Homes and Gardens and Metropolitan Home to Country Gardens and House Beautiful.
