It's April 1st, April 8th, well past the 60th day of the session and there is still no budget. Wrangling over whether to cut higher education or pensions has run out the clock.

Sen. Stivers predicts a budget by Sunday, April 12th.

Why can't Kentucky's elected officials do what we sent them to Frankfort to do?

Time is money and time is running out.
