Ivan's brother, Bill, who lives in Bogolusa. Louisiana, sent us these pictures from the other morning. Snow in LA puts our Monday night sleet storm in perspective! Left, Bill's car hasn't had snow on it since he moved out of the Midwest years ago.
In the Purchase, we have salt trucks and snow removal equipment that did a great job getting phase one of the latest result of southern wet meeting northern winds. Way down south, there isn't a need for such things and to make matters worse, who knows how to drive on wintry roads?
